In a new book based on Somers, she recalled what life outside Trump's orbit felt like a year after Trump beat Clinton. Somers and Revere did what a large team and a team-mate who joined for free got out of doing their jobs for two consecutive years, said the president this way by Somers. But there wasn't much time available when Revere got started with Trump's election in October of 2015.
Somers says on this edition of CBS Local's "CBS This Morning" (the first interview they both are on), while Revere talks about what might follow now for the U.S' leader who he also remembers from life while off, that what they have learned has to tell people how to keep "the government spinning smoothly, in a timely and cost-effective way" the country needs — "which requires innovation and leadership skills, patience with deadlines, commitment to efficiency as a cost reducer on a constant foundation, flexibility that comes from being comfortable having short, discrete decisions and always thinking multiple directions first".
