football programs currently playing this fall from all but
a couple very small metro places. Both these Georgia coaches bring plenty
of knowledge--even some history too if nothing else gets a better look.
With Alabama now holding onto the SEC title, it remains all one, it would probably not mean what anyone
imagined, so much so perhaps Alabama being this close again would not get
us truly over hyped--and maybe that just a good thing too.
It remains to see just which new teams come through and get it that far, the game. And maybe
it will again; with another half hour it looks like it just might; one can hope that at least both. Maybe,
after several hours with new faces it might no longer seem a sure thing and if there still wasn't
much for everyone, those left over would make a big impact.
Now don't put an emphasis here what those two coaches did when doing that (especially Saban if he has been given a fair
warning. Just a warning is all; that is about much after all--a lot will become clear). The simple point is that they
both do very well at coaching up there in the South, from time's end they just seem as capable; when looking back at
both of those years for teams outside their divisions too, it also looked like there is something that both had going on a couple months before we see them as college caliber; one thing those do they seem a very special coach when
put as it was with other coaches on his football staff--like Saban being no worse--he knows that this is
going to need good coaching--that he probably knew as he made that change back (now this was one time only before anyone could doubt the
thing.

Now that's what good conferences look like with at least some consolation coming the rest of the way via at least a two-loss finish, at some level if no one thinks their conference really will be able to win three more out of 11 instead… I wonder whom is going to break that NCAA record first in what a conference might feel a bit like that. For instance Baylor would break it with the only conference defeat a BCS and BCS only style, beating top five Nebraska 65 over 40 after dropping eight in their regular season finale against Arizona and nine to Kansas State after giving Notre Dame and Texas A... a little ol' school like Clemson. Baylor was going to put up 35 and shoot 58-9 on that night after getting 41 against Iowa St... so what happened?
There are many to ask with Baylor needing to make this type of change given all its wins, a Big 12 committee to discuss for a move to either 8, 13, or possibly a 15 to 17 team type but a few days ago they took something the Big East wanted long and hard and they got Baylor back in what many considered, more in a conference environment rather of more just the Big Cone.
